No More, “Saya Malu, Sir.”

Hi, I am Andrew, and I know many ways to help you with English. But in most of the exercises, I will need you to speak more than merely sitting and listening.

That’s why, before I begin any session, I tell my students to be confident. Believing that you can do it is the first step to learning English, and it makes you feel good too, right?

When you feel good, you are better at learning new things. Besides boosting confidence in my students, I use various methods to help my students learn faster.

It feels great to see my students grow from “Saya malu, Sir” to confidence master. But how do you develop?

How often do you hear people say, “Learning English language is actually easy if you practice?”

Way too many times? But do you actually do it?

You can take as much training as you want, but it won’t be useful if you don’t practice. Take advantage of the fact that you have a native trainer who is there to help you practice.

Too shy?

Okay besides having to speak with a native, there are other ways that you can try alone.

Improve your speaking skills by reading and learning pronunciation in front of the mirror. You can imagine yourself as another person talking to you. (Do this if you don’t think it’s strange to talk with yourself in front of the mirror.)

The second way is to record yourself speaking English. Listen to it and make notes of the wrong pronunciation and grammar (Do this if you already know the correct pronunciations and grammar rules.)

My last suggestion would be to find a native friend and have an English conversation by phone. That way, you don’t have to directly speak with a native and save yourself from the embarrassment of making mistakes. (Do this if you have enough phone credits.)

Anyway, you choose, I will always be delighted to help you learn English and achieve your career dreams.
