  • Part 2-You will be given a task card with prompts and asked to talk on a particular topic. You will have one minute to prepare and you can makes notes if you wish and then you will speak for between one and two minutes. The examiner will then ask one or two rounding off questions.
  • Part 3-You will engage in conversation with the examiner in a discussion of abstract topics which are thematically linked to the topic in part 2. The discussion lasts between four or five minutes.

  • Task 2-You will be presented with a point of view, argument or problem. You will need to show your ability provide general factual information, outline a problem and present a solution, present and justify an opinion and evaluate and challenge ideas, evidence or arguments.

You will be assessed on your ability to write in an appropriate style.
